Spare Parts Puppet Theatre hosting two-week intensive training this August!
Welcome to acclaimed augmented reality artists Davy & Kristin McGuire who have flown all the way from the UK to conduct a unique two-week training at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre this August!
Participating artists will get a rare opportunity to work along side and learn from the McGuires who run an award winning creative studio known for hybrid installations and idiosyncratic multimedia experiments.
During the two-week intensive training, participants will explore the techniques used in the Helpmann Award winning theatre show The Paper Architect (Best Visual Theatre production, 2015), building small scale theatre sets from paper dioramas and found objects, devising scenes and learning the techniques to map projection onto the dioramas.
