String Symphony is in Queensland where it is being featured as part of the fantastic Mackay Festival of the Arts. You can see String Symphony at the festival from 22 – 24 July 2021 and festival goers will get a chance to bring our giant illuminated puppet to life!
We are so excited to finally be able to head to Mackay with String Symphony given the current climate and are ecstatic that we are able to bring joy and connection to the people of Mackay. Our very talented performers, Shane Adamczak and Jessica Harlond Kenny have agreed to do 14 days quarantine on their return to WA so that we are able to go ahead with presenting this work!
Head to Mackay Bluewater Trail to see String Symphony, a large-scale, interactive performance installation that uses puppetry to explore connection, community and collaboration. Hand-woven using more than one kilometre of rope, the giant illuminated puppet is waiting to be brought to life. This mesmerising performance invites audience members to become puppeteers. As the participants manipulate the giant interactive puppet, onlookers marvel at the beauty of this magnificent creation.
