We are delighted to be out on our much anticipated national tour of Roald Dahl’s The Twits! Theatres across the country will be presenting this rambunctious comedy of rebellion to thousands of audience members from June 24 to September 14.
Roald Dahl’s The Twits is a wicked tale of two grizzly old grunions, Mr and Mrs Twit, who like nothing more than to play nasty tricks on each other and those around them. But luckily for us, and for the goodness of humankind, Muggle-Wump and his new friend The Roly-Poly Bird will devise a plan to turn the Twits world upside down – literally! As laugh-out-loud entertaining as The Twits is, it is a great show for encouraging us all to think about how we treat each other and how we can spread positivity through good thoughts alone!
“A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.” Roald Dahl -The Twits
While we’re on tour we’re going to be collecting as many good thoughts as we can along the way and we want you to join in! If you would like to take part in sharing your own good thought, you can download the Good Thoughts sheet HERE. Don’t forget to share your good thought with us by using #sppt #nationaltourtwits #goodthoughtsproject
You can share a good thought about anything you like. Such as your:
- mum, dad, aunt, uncle, cousin, nan, pop, brother or sister
- cat, dog, bird, goldfish etc.
- teacher
- friend
- self (self love is the bees knees)
These are just a few suggestions but the options are endless!
