Kid-Friendly Cafes in Fremantle

Spare Parts Puppet Theatre is located in the heart of Fremantle. We are situated directly across from the Fremantle train station, making public transport an attractive option!

Once you are in the area there are a selection of great local cafes offering something for all ages, including activity areas and kid-friendly menu options.

Ootong & Lincoln

258 South Terrace, South Fremantle

Breakfast served daily 6.30am – 1pm

Quirky joint decorated with bikes and trikes, for homemade cafe staples and organic tea blends. Features a little play area inside the café for the kids with plenty of tables around for parents to keep a watchful eye.

Their breakfast needs are taken care of with a few choices like milo maize porridge, a toastie or egg on toast.

Moore & Moore Café

The Moores Building, 46 Henry St, Fremantle

Open daily from 7am-4pm

Artisan coffee plus eclectic breakfast and lunch options in a hip warehouse with a courtyard. They have a lovely kid’s corner with toys and offer kid’s breakfast (half serve), kid size drinks and of course, babyccinos with marshmallows.

Little Creatures

40 Mews Rd, Fremantle

Opening hours Monday-Friday 10am-12am, Saturday 9am-12am, Sunday 9am-11pm.

Little Creatures is very welcoming of kids (a reminder, this is a pub.) A dedicated kid’s menu, awesome view and large sandpit out the back makes it a popular summer destination.

Zephyr Cafe

61 Riverside Rd, East Fremantle (John Tonkin Park)

Relaxed, breezy waterfront venue with outdoor seats, cooking up classic brekkie and lunch dishes.

Zephyr is located alongside a fantastic playground and toddler playground with stunning river views and beaches.
