To join in the celebrations of National Children’s Week which is taking place from the 22 – 30th October, we are running Go for 2&5 Children’s Week Puppet Play Days at a number of the Meerilinga’s Childcare & Family Centres. All children and their families are welcome to attend these free puppet making workshops. This will be a great hands-on activity to be enjoyed by children and families and will be free-flowing workshop in which children get to take home their puppet as a memento.
You will be able to create and characterise your puppet at your own pace, while being guided by Spare Parts Puppet Theatre’s workshop tutors. Plus a healthy morning tea will be provided.
The free workshops will be occurring at various venues across the city from Wednesday 19 – Friday 28 October.
For more information about the workshops email Georgina at admin@sppt.asn.au or head to the Meerilinga Young Children’s Foundation.
