Through work with the neutral mask, larval mask and character mask, participants will learn how to free up the imagination by developing an expressive body. The somatic work will also encourage a bolder experimentation with rhythm and breath, and a stronger connection to fellow actors through playfulness and a sense of lightness. Emphasis will give to the importance of the relationship between the actor and the audience. Participants will discover how the heightened imagination of the actor draws out the imagination of the audience member and encourages it to ‘come and play’!
